Get ready to be swept away by a wave of ecological boldness! We have taken on the wildest challenge: giving new life to marine waste by transforming it into backpack pouches. In collaboration with Seaqual®, three limited edition pouches have been developed using an eco-designed fiber that cleans up the oceans.
Who is Seaqual® ?
Spanish brand founded in 2016, Seaqual® is an initiative that brings together fishermen, NGOs, and textile companies. The collaborative project emerged from an alarming observation: every year, 12 million tons of waste are dumped into the oceans, with 80% eventually sinking into the depths. To counter this reality, Seaqual® has created a polyester fiber made from plastic waste collected in Europe, the Mediterranean Sea, and the West Coast of Africa.
But... How is it possible?
Once collected by the work of 400 partner fishing boats scouring the sea, the waste is sorted, processed, and spun into a high-quality polyester fiber that offers the same properties as virgin polyester fiber. The remarkable aspect is that, in addition to cleaning up, the Seaqual® fiber helps save up to 40% of water and 50% of energy, all while reducing the carbon footprint by 60%.

With our shared fight, it was as clear as seawater that we were meant to come together. Being environmentally conscious since day one and certified as a B-Corp in 2022, we are committed to eco-designing our products. Our greatest adventure is proving that sustainable fashion is possible. From low-carbon transportation to biodegradable packaging (thanks to corn starch!) and our products made from recycled bottles, eco-responsibility is a comprehensive approach for us that extends to all levels.
With this limited edition of 3 Seaqual® pouches made from marine waste, our intention is to push our commitments even further by working with a new material that is not only environmentally friendly but also has a positive impact on our planet.
