The adventure begins. Bastien Valensi and Emilien Foiret create CABAIA with their iconic beanies featuring interchangeable pompoms.

2016

We open our first pop-up stores and start building our retailer network (hello, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps!).

2018

We begin our partnership with the SPA (French Society for the Protection of Animals) by launching our first charitable collection, donating 100% of profits to the association.

2019
Our Adventurer backpack is launched in co-creation with customers. It’s an instant success, quickly expanding into multiple sizes.

2020
We hit the symbolic milestone of 1,000 retailers across France and Europe.

2021
We open our first CABAIA boutique in the heart of Paris—the beginning of our "Paillotes"!

2022
Already a mission-driven company, we achieve B Corp certification with a score of 92.2/100 and partner with Tierschutzbund, the German equivalent of the SPA.

2023
Our collection of backpacks and luggage continues to grow, including the launch of the Explorer, our most technical backpack, and a new line of soft and hard-shell suitcases in the works.

2024
With over 30 stores in France and Belgium, we open our first boutiques in Germany and establish our own endowment fund, Care & Give, to deepen our commitment to partner associations.
