​​Ever wondered what goes through the minds of our Product Team when a new bag is born? We did too. So, we went and asked them THE question. For the Wanderer collection, the story didn't start with a specific need… but with an intuition. In the beginning, it wasn’t even about creating a new range. It all started during the development of our Crossbody bags: several paths were being explored, and multiple prototypes were being tested. Among them, one design stood out: different, bolder, a bit of an outlier… When the first samples arrived, the realization was instant: this model had huge potential… but it didn't quite fit with the rest of the Adventurer range. That’s when the idea emerged: what if this bag became the starting point for an entirely new collection?

Creating the Wanderer collection meant taking a step to the side. Internally, one question kept coming up: what if we moved toward something more natural? That is how one of Wanderer’s core ambitions was born: to offer an alternative featuring more natural, softer, and more authentic materials. Less faux leather. More cotton. When it came time to sketch it out, two approaches went head-to-head:
- The first: Transforming existing codes (adapting our backpacks into Crossbody versions while keeping the fundamentals).
- The second: Starting from scratch (imagining a cleaner, more contemporary bag that looked like nothing else ever seen at CABAIA).
This second path is what gave life to our new Wanderer collection. The formats are inspired by modern lifestyles (somewhere between city life and getting away from it all) while remaining faithful to the CABAIA DNA: practicality, modularity, and well-thought-out details. As for the front pouches, they remain interchangeable, maintaining continuity with our existing concept to blend personalization with brand coherence.

Wanderer is a new way to keep up with back-to-back days that never look the same. Those days where you go from a meeting to an impromptu outing, from a planned moment to an unexpected detour. With its sleek lines, textured recycled cotton materials, and complementary formats (from the compact Crossbody to the more generous Carry All), the range adapts to every rhythm without ever weighing down your style.

A range designed to last, to adapt, and to accompany you through every daily routine. Today, Wanderer marks a milestone, a new direction, and a playground for experimentation. As always at CABAIA, nothing is set in stone: the range is built to evolve, to be adjusted, and to live alongside those who wear it. And like any good adventure… this is only the beginning!
