Help! I had a bad gift!
"Aww, you shouldn't have..." That's what you say when you open the gift from your uncle Bob. Have you already experienced that feeling facing a bad gift? Take a deep breath, we have solutions for you.
"It's the thought that counts..."
Oh, really? We don't know about you, but we think that this mug, for the 10th year in a row, starts to look more like a curse than a sweet attention. Besides, as we at Cabaïa are experts in bad gifts, we judged that a gift was a failure if (several possible answers) :
1) It is REALLY useless
2) It is not eco-friendly
3) We already have 4 copies of it
Do we have to throw it away then?
Of course not! As you know, at Cabaïa, we hate to throw things away. Nothing worse than an object with a short life cycle! So we suggest these 4 solutions instead 👇
Solution #1 : give it away
You don't like your gift, but others may like it! Ask around: there are surely associations that will gladly take your donation. Don't hesitate to ask your town hall, which will certainly have some good addresses for you! You can also make a donation between individuals thanks to apps or special websites 👀.
Solution #2: Upcycle it
What if we told you that an ugly mug could be transformed into a pretty vase once repainted? The cushion with the dubious pattern that your cousin gave you can easily be covered with a pretty home-made cover. And that old shirt? A quick snip of the scissors and you can turn it into your favorite shirt of the year. Head over to Pinterest to stock up on great ideas!
Solution #3 : Cabaïa

Solution #4: better safe than sorry!

I promise, you'll feel so much better.
